Calculation of Electronic Gear Ratio of Servo Motor
I would like to share some of the problems I encountered in my work. Some of them are programs I wrote, some of them are books I read, and I would like to share them with you. Today, I will mainly share the problems encountered in the servo control of a previous project.
This project is * * non-standard projects that I have done, and I suffered a lot because many things were used * * times, and the principles were slowly explored. The gear ratio here is one of them, and a lot of data was collected at that time. Here is one of them:
If it is known that the encoder line number C=2500, the reduction ratio 1:1, the pitch pitch=8mm, and the movement of a pulse is ▲ p=0.001mm, then the calculation of the electronic gear ratio is: first calculate the encoder resolution Pt=4 * C=10000 P/r

Number of pulses for one cycle of load Pc=Pitch/▲ p=8mm/0.001=8000
Electronic gear ratio N/M=Pt/(Pc * R)=10000/(8000 * 1/1)=5/4
Then the numerator and denominator are set to 5 and 4 respectively, which are required to be set in the servo motor,
The servo motors all adopt incremental encoder or * * encoder. Its working principle is one AB phase pulse plus one Z phase pulse. The AB phase pulse can be understood as two sets of mutually independent dials with 90 degree phase difference. The 360 degree round table is divided into 2500 grids equally. When A is ahead of B, it can be considered as forward rotation, and vice versa. This is why many servo motors have 2500 lines described in the specifications, It corresponds to 10000 pulses, while the Z phase generates one pulse every revolution. Therefore, many servo motors in the market generate 10000 pulses every revolution.
