What factors affect the working efficiency of the servo motor
Servo motor is widely used in the field of industrial automation at present, but its working efficiency can not meet the needs of all people. What's going on here? What factors affect the working efficiency of the servo motor? The small editor of CIIC Electric brings you to understand this problem.
As far as the working efficiency of the servo motor is concerned, the working efficiency range of the servo motor has been determined at the beginning of the design and selection. We need to select the appropriate servo motor according to our own production needs, or upgrade the servo motor according to our own production in the future.
In addition to the design and selection mentioned above, we can divide the factors that affect the working efficiency of the servo motor into mechanical loss and electromagnetic loss.
For example, for an AC asynchronous motor, the current passing through the stator and rotor windings will cause copper loss and conductor loss, while the magnetic field inside the iron will cause eddy current to bring hysteresis loss, the high-order harmonic of the breath magnetic field will produce stray loss on the load, and there will be wear loss during the rotation of bearings and fans.
1. Mechanical loss reduces rotor, stator loss and electronic iron loss, which affects the working efficiency of servo motor. The reduction of rotor loss is mainly related to the rotor resistance and the current passing through the rotor. To reduce the rotor loss, you can reduce the resistance of the rotor winding, use relatively thick wire with low resistivity, or increase the slot sectional area of the rotor. There is also copper loss on the stator, which can increase the slot surface of the stator, increase the full slot rate of the stator slot, and shorten the end length of the stator winding. If a permanent magnet is used to replace the stator winding, no current is needed, which is also the fundamental reason why synchronous motors are more efficient than asynchronous motors in some production environments. Cold rolled silicon steel sheet is used to reduce the magnetic density, increase the length of iron core to reduce the magnetic flux density, and also increase the insulation coating. In addition, the heat treatment process is also critical.
2. Electromagnetic loss, motor stray loss and ventilation friction loss. Higher harmonics will cause stray losses in windings and iron cores, which can improve stator windings and reduce the generation of higher harmonics. It can also conduct insulation treatment on the surface of rotor slot and reduce the magnetic slot effect by means of magnetic slot mud. Measures such as selecting quality materials and optimizing design were taken to reasonably design the ventilation structure, and axial flow or backward tilt fans were used.
